Over the years I have had a lot of people ask me about the actual title loan application and is the information we collect on the site the entire application. I can tell you it is not.
A title loan application is more detailed but not too hard but the one you fill out on the web site here is just to get the ball rolling and typically is all the lender needs to get you a loan amount and to get you the info you need. If you want to proceed, here is the TYPICAL application questions:
(This application assumes you will not have a cosigner but if you do, no sweat; its the same basic info about the person)
INFO ABOUT YOU:
- Last name, First name, Middle initial
- Date of birth
- Drivers License number
- Social Security number
- Married, Unmarried or Separated
- Email address
- Cell phone or pager (like those exist anymore)
- How did you hear about us?
- Address with the city, state and zip (if less than 5 years except to give each address over the last 5 years inclusive)
- Occupation or Rank (unemployed is okay as long as you can prove income)
- Present Employer (if less than 5 years, expect to give up the last 5 years of employment info)
- Gross monthly income from employment
- OTHER income including alimony, child support, separate maintenance income (if court ordered you have to state that)
WHERE YOU LIVE
- Landlord or Mortgage company name, address, city, state zip and phone
- How much is your rent or mortgage
YOUR CAR
- Year
- Make
- Model
- Trim package if any
- Color
- Automatic transmission or manual
- Plate #
- VIN #
- Mileage (get as close as you can here)
- DO you have the title (that’s usually a yes or no)
- Problems with the car
INSURANCE (if you don’t have it you need to tell them and they most probably can help with it as part of the loan)
- Insurance company
- Phone #
- Policy#
- What is the coverage (must be full coverage but deductibles vary)
THAT’S IT! From that you will be on your way with a title loan. Now that wasn’t too hard.
